PERSONAL PROFILE
-

I joined the lab as a new research assistant in September 2019, after completing a student placement in Dr. Claude Alain's Lab at Rotman Research Institute. Before moving to Toronto, I completed my BSc in Psychology at the University of Salzburg, Austria and I am currently finishing my MSc in Psychology at the University of Duesseldorf, Germany. During my time there, I worked as a research assistant in the Department of Medical Psychology at the University Hospital in Cologne, Germany, where we investigated social risk-taking behavior in patients with Parkinson's disease who underwent surgery for deep brain stimulation. I'm generally interested in clinical neuropsychology and, more particular, in neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's and Parkinon's as well as healthy cognitive aging. This stems from my clinical work in a neurological rehabilitation hospital, where I was involved in both neuropsychological assessment and therapeutic treatment. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, running, travelling and exploring new places.
